This Privacy Policy applies to the Mnemo website, learning workspace, and related services. It covers the information we collect when you create an account, upload or enter study material, generate quizzes or cards, and use features that track your learning progress over time.

Mnemo is designed to help users learn more effectively through structured review, generated practice content, and progress history. The way we handle data follows that purpose.

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Account information, such as your email address, login credentials, and authentication details when you sign in directly or through a supported provider.
• Learning content, such as folder names, notes, pasted text, uploaded files, URLs, generated quiz content, review answers, retention history, and study progress.
• Technical and usage data, such as browser type, device information, approximate IP-based location, pages viewed, referring pages, session timestamps, and app performance logs.
• Local preference data, such as theme settings and session state stored in your browser to keep the product usable and consistent.
• Communications you send to us if you contact us for support, feedback, or account-related issues.

We use the information we collect to operate and improve Mnemo. That includes using data to:

• Create and manage your account and keep your session secure.
• Process study material you submit and turn it into usable learning experiences.
• Generate quizzes, flashcard-style prompts, and review workflows based on your content.
• Track progress, retention, and review state so the app can show meaningful feedback over time.
• Debug issues, monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and protect the service.
• Send essential service communications such as verification, password reset, and account notices.

Some Mnemo features rely on external infrastructure and service providers to authenticate users, host data, process uploads, and generate study content. When you submit notes, files, or prompts, that material may be processed by providers acting on our behalf so Mnemo can extract structure, generate questions, or support other learning workflows.

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with service providers where it is reasonably necessary to run, secure, maintain, or improve Mnemo.

We keep information for as long as it is needed to provide the service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the platform from misuse.

If you delete content or close your account, some information may remain in backups or logs for a limited period before being removed or anonymized as part of normal operational processes.

We may share information in limited situations, including:

• With vendors and infrastructure providers that help us run Mnemo.
• When required to comply with law, lawful requests, or to protect rights and safety.
• As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of the business.

You can update some account information from within the product, remove study material you no longer want to keep, and use normal account-recovery flows if you lose access to your account.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. If Mnemo later publishes a dedicated privacy contact method, those requests should be sent there.

Mnemo is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Mnemo evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page and may provide additional notice inside the product when appropriate.
